Merle wraps her new series “Greenleaf” for OWN and then heads back to her role on NBC’s hit “The Night Shift” with a short stop in the UK in between.  We hope she will come home with some extra hardware.  Merle actually recorded the game on a short break from filming the NBC series.

LINCOLN CENTER DEBUT…THE ROYALE

February 27, 2016

Khris Davis makes his Lincoln Center debut as Jay “The Sport” Jackson in Marco Ramirez’s The Royale. The play is about the life of the outsider in American culture. It is also a play about a brother and sister who protect each other but don’t agree on what that means. Charismatic African-American boxer Jackson, has a burning desire to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Jackson’s fight begins long before the match, though; it takes careful negotiations to convince the white reigning titleholder to even recognize him as a worthy opponent and enter the ring. Tony-nominated Montego Glover (Memphis) plays Jackson’s sister Nina: the boxer’s greatest adversary and strongest motivation. Khris was features last month in Vogue and recently worked with the producers of Motown: The Musical on their Press Tour. Try to see this riveting actor in this coveted role.

January 12, 2016

What do Kevin Garnett, Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Kevin Love, Damian Lillard and commercial client Dan Gill have in common. Besides a wicked shooting percentage they are all part of “The Hoopers” commercial campaign for State Farm that started airing over the Christmas holiday.
